Is it really butter coffee?

Is it really butter coffee?

Just to clarify, as a pending trend putting butter in coffee has been floating around for a while now at least since the Paleo diet became popular with the young and vigorous. As a practice people have been putting butter in beverages for centuries. My father put bread and butter in his tea, I’m no stranger to odd beverages. Yaks butter is best in coffee some say and should be supplemented with a spot of coconut oil. I’ve seen recommendations to add a little vanilla if you really want to experience the ultimate silky sweet slide of Bulletproof coffee.

Like a lot of things it’s not new but it seems it’s time may have come as people try to find more ways of staying alert while sitting in front of a screen, it’s a nerd’s dream. But there is an up-side to all this butter madness and it’s not some spurious health claim or membership in some diet club. No. The bottom line is it tastes awesome! Just one word of warning though for best results, check that the butter is from grass fed cows and that it’s unsalted, (unless of course you are that way inclined). It also helps a lot if the cows are brown and milked while facing west, haha just kidding, anyway take my word for it it’s a tremendous drink.
