Last winter I introduced you to some of Sarah’s sheep. They were well wrapped up for winter then and I thought you would like to see how they are doing at the moment. Sarah who works at Applegreen head office shared some more striking sheep pics a few days ago and I think you’ll agree those Texel sheep are seriously photogenic, and not even a little bit sheepish about posing for the perfect shot.
The cool guy on the left looks like he’s set up for a pair of headphones and shades wouldn’t go astray either. It’s a great summer shot, we love it. We love those Texel sheep too and we’ll be keeping an eye on them. Sarah also seems to be developing quite an eye for a good picture. One reason we are delighted to highlight these beautiful animals is that sheep in general don’t get enough good press, so it’s great when someone captures their, well … just being there.
You see sheep have an image problem. A serious image problem, I mean, think of the word sheep and it’s connotations. You immediately see masses of boring people all doing the same thing, just like er.. sheep. Now I want you for a second to imagine sheep, on a mountainside, white on green, applegreen even, standing Zen-like against the blue sky like monks in meditation. Now has your image of sheep changed? Is that working for you? No? Don’t get the picture? Not to worry, Sarah did. Hope you like it.
