T&Cs: Win a Sony Ghostbusters Merchandise Pack 2024 Competition
By participating in Applegreen’s Win a Sony Ghostbusters Merchandise Pack
2024 Competition, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these
Terms and Conditions. A failure to adhere to these Terms and Conditions may
result in disqualification from the competition and/or forfeiture of the prize(s).
The competition is open to legal residents of Ireland (excluding Northern
Ireland) aged 18 and over, excluding employees and their immediate families
of Applegreen, its affiliates and agents or anyone else professionally connected
with the Competition.
Only one entry per person is permitted and only one prize may be won per
person during the entire competition. Entry/participation is free – no purchase
is necessary.
The competition entry method will be further described in the social media post
copy. This may include a combination of comment/like/follow/tag/share on
social media posts and tweets. Comments should not imply, mention or tag
another person except where the entrant has obtained express permission to
publicly share their image, name or platform name (as applicable).
There are a total of ten (10) prizes available to be won. Each prize consists of
one (x1) Sony Ghostbusters Merchandise Pack and will be further described in
the social media post copy.
Incomplete, illegible or late entries will not be accepted. No responsibility will
be accepted for entries lost or delayed in transmission, or for difficulties
experienced in submitting an entry.
A valid social media account with the applicable social media platform and
access to the internet are required. All entries will be subject to the applicable
social media platform’s terms of service. The person entering the competition
must be the owner of the social media account used.
Any entries received from private social media accounts will not be entered due
to privacy restrictions. Participants who are holders of a private account must
amend their account settings to public for their entry to be accepted. The
account must remain public during the promotion and for 21 days after the end
of the promotional period to enable Applegreen to contact the entrant in the
event of their entry being a winner.
The promotional period will open at 12:00pm (Irish time) on 22 March 2024
and will close at 12:00pm (Irish time) on 27 March 2024. A total of ten (10)
winners will be drawn following the end of the promotional period, selected in
a random draw, conducted by a third-party agency. The agency’s decision is
final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be contacted through Applegreen’s social media accounts by 30
March 2024 and announced by 1 April 2024, to organise delivery of the prize.
Each winner will be notified by direct message or by being tagged in a comment
via social media and must contact Applegreen through such platform in order
to claim their prize. Applegreen will aim to ensure that prizes are delivered
within 30 days from the date of winner acceptance.
Applegreen reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in the event that no
response has been received within 2 days of contacting the initial winner, or if
that person is disqualified after verification checks, or if Applegreen considers
that any winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.
Applegreen’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Each prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable and will only be awarded
to the selected winner. No cash or credit alternative will be awarded in lieu of
stated prize. If any prize is unavailable, Applegreen reserves the right to
substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
Applegreen reserves the right to withdraw or amend this competition in the
event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Applegreen and its agents reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor
and review the content submitted, and to remove or refuse to take forward as
an entry any content submitted that Applegreen does not deem, in its sole
discretion, to be appropriate, or which Applegreen deems to violate any of these
Terms and Conditions. Applegreen’s decisions are final and no correspondence
will be entered into.
Anyone who Applegreen determines in its sole discretion to be acting in any
way that undermines the operation or integrity of the competition or in any way
which gives an unfair advantage will be disqualified and any persons seeking to
use such information gained will be disqualified. Applegreen reserves the right
to verify all entries including but not limited to requiring proof of address and
identity (including proof of age) which must be provided within 14 days of
request.
No entries from agents, third parties, trade, consumer or other organised
groups, or aliases will be accepted. Entries automatically generated by
computer will not be accepted.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or
associated with, any social media platform and you release each such platform
from any and all liability in relation to this competition. You are providing your
information to Applegreen and not any social media platform.
Applegreen does not guarantee that you will have any recourse to edit or delete
any content you have submitted. You acknowledge that you, not Applegreen,
are responsible for the contents of your submission. None of the content that
you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of
Applegreen, its agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or third-party service providers
and their respective directors, officers and employees.
To the fullest extent permissible by law, neither Applegreen nor its affiliates,
directors, officers, employees or agents shall be responsible or liable to
compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage (including
without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses), or injuries of any
kind, as a result of participating in the competition or taking up the prize, except
where it is caused by Applegreen’s gross negligence. Your statutory rights are
not affected.
Applegreen may, with the winner’s consent, publish details of the winner, with
photographs and footage of the winner with the prize in its publications, social
media pages and websites.
